Remodel
We realize
that customers have many choices as to who
will do the work on their property. It is a
relatively large expenditure and the quality
of work and the warranty thereon are very
important to them. We submit the following
for consideration when making a decision
regarding pool replastering or remodeling.
-
The
contractor selected should be licensed
by the California Department of Consumer
Affairs and be current and in good
standing. You can get information on the
status of any contractor’s license by
checking with the State Contractors
License Board online at
www.cslb.ca.gov/ or call 1-800-321
2752.
-
Customers should get a written warranty
on the work performed and should be
able to compare one company with
another. Don't be taken in by the
statement "They are all the same." …
because, they are not. Remember, a
warranty is only as strong as the
company behind it. Gardner Pool
Plastering, Inc. has been in business in
Southern California for over 35 years. We
have plastered thousands of pools and
pride ourselves on our satisfied
customers. We send out a follow-up
letter on every job completed and react
quickly to anyone who is not completely
satisfied. " Our
creed is: " If you like our work, tell
your friends and neighbors, if you don't
like it, tell us and we will fix it to
your satisfaction."
-
The
contractor should have both liability
insurance and workers
compensation insurance in force and
be willing to provide proof of same.
This is for the customer’s protection.
-
Decking & Add-ons: Adding or upgrading
the decking surrounding the pool being
remodeled will significantly beautify
the pool area. The pool can be further
enhanced by adding an in-pool spa,
slide, weeping walls or waterfall. The
only restriction is the level of
creativity brought to the project.
Equipment
The pool
might not be the only thing that needs
upgrading. Often, we recommend replacing,
adding to or upgrading the pool equipment.
New equipment will generally lower the cost
of maintaining the pool. We offer a variety
of equipment that can create a more
luxurious environment to any pool and will
generally result in energy-saving benefits.
It is far more economical to replace old
inefficient equipment at the time of remodel
than to do so two, three or five years
later.

Finally, a word about price
There is an old adage …
“ It is unwise to pay too much, but it’s
worse to pay too little. When you pay too
much, you lose a little money … that is
all. When you pay too little, you sometimes
lose everything, because the thing you
bought was incapable of doing what it was
bought to do.
The common
law of business balance prohibits paying a
little and getting a lot … it can’t be
done. If you deal with the lowest bidder,
it would be well to add something for the
risk you run. And if you do that, you will
have enough to pay for something better in
the first place.”
There is
nothing in this world that someone can't
make cheaper, quality wise, and sell for
less money. We price our work very
competitively for the quality we put into
every job. For that reason we stand behind
our work with confidence. We guarantee your
satisfaction and would be happy to meet with
you to compare any legitimate written bid
for comparable work.
Thank you for
considering Gardner Pool Plastering, Inc. We
want your business and will do everything
possible to justify your confidence in us.
